A hotel is offering a competition unlike any other: “Make babies in our resort on February 29th and celebrate your baby’s life events at our hotel, on us.”
In the unique publicity stunt accompanied by a video, the Yehuda Hotel in Jerusalem is offering to pay for events such as the baby’s bris, bar or bat mitzvah and wedding, a prize worth an estimated 400,000 Israeli Shekel (approximately £72,000). In order to collect the prize, the couple must provide proof of conception by means of a doctor’s note.
You’d better be quick though – only the first two couples to demonstrate proof of pregnancy will win the prize.
Responses to the hotel’s competition have garnered some varied responses, ranging from “creepy” it being labelled a form of sexual harassment.
